It primarily derives its revenue from B2B sales of photovoltaic solar modules and a wide range of Balance of System (BOS) components, as well as half fabricates and raw materials. Its location in the Netherlands offers first class global logistical connections through its efficient sea and airports and its highly developed logistical infrastructure. Being close to the world’s major solar markets of Germany and Spain and quickly developing markets as Greece, Belgium, France and Italy, is a major advantage to the group.DutchSolar’s assortment consists of the GiraSolar brand of photovoltaic solar modules and related system hardware (BOS) for grid-tied and stand-alone solar power applications, the core consisting of its EU and US manufactured GS, G5 and G6 type modules ranging from 80 to 175Wp and the GiraSolar DPE range of electronic devices of GiraSolar Turkey Ltd. ranging from regulators for PV systems to heavy duty automatic voltage stabilizers, batteries and battery chargers for application in developing countries and disaster or crisis areas, i.e. for emergency relief applications. DutchSolar also carries a wide range of 3rd party products, allowing for a very complete assortment and a wide spectrum of single components or complete solar solutions to be offered to customers.
Further, DutchSolar supplies silicon products and solar cell and is involved with R&D projects executed in cooperation with universities and other institutes, i.e. on application development, solar cell research and silicon purification.
